We were delighted to welcome 80 boys and girls aged 6 to 14 to Wellesley House during the Easter holidays for our two-day cricket course.  All of the budding cricketers were able to make use of Wellesley’s stunning grounds and top quality cricketing facilities under the guidance of a team of 7 expert coaches – including current 1st XI cricketers from Sandwich Town CC, a member of Kent CCC community coaching team, an ex-professional cricketer and ECB Level 4 coach, Wellesley’s own Director of Sport and 1st XI coach.  The attendees benefited from soft and hardball drills and games, developing their fielding, batting and bowling skills, whilst also promoting, and in some cases igniting, a passion for cricket.  Well done to all involved!
