During their Kings and Queens topic the children in Form JB spent time finding out about Kings and Queens in the past. The children then became interested in our present Queen and decided they would like to send her a letter. As a class, they thought of questions they would like to ask her. Form JB composed a letter to the Queen and went to the local post office to buy a stamp and send the letter. On our return from half term a letter was waiting at Wellesley from Buckingham Palace. This caused great excitement for both staff and pupils. A great experience all round!
